Food Technology Students Joined Sakura Science Exchange Program 2019 at Chiba University, Japan

During June 30, 2019 to July 12, 2019, Food Science and Technology students joined the Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science (Sakura Exchange Program in Science) at Graduate School of Horticulture, Chiba University, Japan. This Sakura Exchange program was supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) under the collaborative working of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yukiharu Ogawa, Chiba University, Japan and Dr. Natthawuddhi Donlao, Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand.

The exchange program activities include;

– Training in Postharvest and Food Engineering lab

– Cultural exchange with Japanese students

– Japanese cultural studies

– Visiting the Yamazaki Baking Company’s Creation Center

– Visiting the Tokyo National Museum

– Joining the Japan International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition (FOOMA JAPAN 2019) at Tokyo Big Sight- Tokyo International Exhibition Center

– Japan cultural tours
