School of Agro-industry, MFU has joined with Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs to host AITC training “R&D in Postharvest and Processing Technology for Food Security”

School of Agro-industry, MFU has joined with Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs to host AITC training “R&D in Postharvest and Processing Technology for Food Security” during 7-27 November 2019. The training was organized with various objectives:

  1. to provide the knowledge of how to manage agricultural produces after harvest to reduce losses during storage and transportation as well as food processing technology
  2. to develop food security and add value of agricultural products and
  3. to foster a professional network among participants and organizing staff.

The training activities included lectures and workshop as well as study visits in many institute related to Agro-industry. There were 18 participants from 18 counties from ASEAN member countries and FEALAC member countries joining this training.
