On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the School of Agro-Industry, Mae Fah Luang University, launched the project "Enhancing Pineapple Production and ValueAddition in Chiang Rai Province through Green Technology for Environmental Sustainability and Community Well-being ."
The event brought together a wide range of partner organizations from across the sector. The project aims to equip local farmers and entrepreneurs with environmentally friendly technologies that support their transition towards more sustainable pineapple production. It also seeks to advance research on converting residues from the production chain into valuable resources, moving toward a comprehensive Zero-Waste Production system. This launch marks a significant step in promoting sustainable and eco-conscious growth within Chiang Rai's agricultural sector.
