Massey University Delegation Visits Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University to Strengthen International Collaboration

Khon Kaen, Thailand — Today, a delegation from Massey University, New Zealand, led by Prof. Dr. Jaspreet Singh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lovedeep Kaur, paid an official visit to the Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University. The delegation was warmly welcomed and accompanied on a faculty tour by Asst. Prof. Dr. Araya Chaoruangrit, Dean of the Faculty of Technology; Prof. Dr. Alissara Reungsang, Vice Dean for Research, Innovation, and International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimnibha Hirunsorn, Head of the Food Technology Department; together with members of the faculty team.

This visit was conducted under the MFU Reinventing University BCG: High Value Agri-Food & Global Networking for High Value Creation of Foods & Agricultural Produces project. The initiative aims to promote knowledge exchange, enhance research and innovation capacity, and expand international collaboration with partner universities in order to generate high-value outcomes in food and agricultural production.

During the visit, discussions focused on strengthening academic and research partnerships, exploring opportunities for joint research projects, facilitating staff and student exchanges, and advancing innovation in agri-food systems in alignment with the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy model.

The project is led by Prof. Dr. Saroat Rawdkuen, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthawuddhi Donlao serving as the project coordinator from Mae Fah Luang University. This visit represents a significant step toward deepening collaboration between Thai and international institutions in the pursuit of sustainable and high-value agri-food development.
