MFU School of Agro-Industry Visits China Agricultural University to Strengthen Strategic Collaboration in Research and Education

On 20 July 2026, the School of Agro-Industry, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) visited China Agricultural University (CAU) in Beijing, People's Republic of China, under the project "Agro-Industry Silk Road: MFU–Beijing Strategic Alliance for Research and Education Excellence." The visit aimed to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

The discussion focused on expanding cooperation in several key areas, including collaborative research, student and staff exchange, curriculum development, and joint research initiatives in agro-industry, post-harvest technology, food packaging, and biomaterials. These collaborative efforts are intended to enhance education, research, and innovation in line with international standards.

The MFU delegation consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Wirongrong Tongdeesoontorn and Professor Dr. Saroat Rawdkuen from the School of Agro-Industry, together with Associate Professor Dr. Natthawuddhi Donlao and Assistant Professor Dr. Nattaya Konsue from the Innovative Food Packaging and Biomaterials Research Center (IFPB). During the visit, the delegation met with CAU administrators and faculty members to exchange ideas and discuss future collaborative opportunities.

This visit represents another significant milestone in the School of Agro-Industry's ongoing efforts to expand its international partnerships with leading universities in the People's Republic of China. The collaboration is expected to promote excellence in education, research, and innovation while creating valuable international academic opportunities for MFU students, faculty members, and researchers in the years ahead.
